Some customers — particularly account or credit customers — need a formal Sales Order rather than a standard POS receipt. Staff can convert a completed POS order into a Sales Order directly from the till.

The resulting Sales Order follows the normal backend invoicing and delivery workflow. This is typically used for wholesale accounts, business customers, or any transaction that needs to be tracked through the standard sales pipeline rather than closed out at the register.
Printing the Sales Order PDF
Because the POS order is replaced by the Sales Order once it is converted, the Sales Order PDF can be printed directly from the till so staff have something to hand the customer.
The option to print the Sales Order PDF on conversion is found in the Order to Sale Order configuration section of the point of sale settings.
When the option is enabled, the Sales Order PDF is printed automatically after a POS order is converted to a Sales Order. When it is disabled, conversion happens without printing.
