Check gift card balances while taking payment
Cashiers can check a gift card's remaining balance straight from the Payment screen, so a customer's question is answered without making a sale and without losing the order or the number already typed. After a gift card payment, the confirmation and the receipt both show how much is left on the card.
Store address and phone on receipts
The store address and phone number can be entered in Settings, each up to 80 characters. Once set, they appear under the store name on receipts so customers know where to bring a return.
Find orders from a particular day
Orders can be narrowed to a date range using the new From and To boxes beside the search box, with both days included and either box left blank if needed. The dates work alongside an order number or product search, and Export CSV still exports every order.
Add a note to an order at the Register
Cashiers can type an optional note of up to 120 characters on an order for requests such as gift wrapping or a pickup name, which is saved with the sale and printed on the receipt as "Note: …". The note stays with an order that is put on hold and comes back when it is resumed, and the box clears for the next customer.
